Government initiative to support students
Home Access Grant flier for parents
The Government recently announced their Home Access scheme that will help more families to get online at home and is aimed at those who need it most. From 11 January 2010, families with children in years 3-9 have been able to apply for a grant to buy a computer and broadband connection. Crawshaw have recently received further information about this scheme.
Nationally, only 270,000 successful applications will be accepted and over 120,000 devices have been distributed so far. It is important that prompt action is taken in order for our children to benefit through this scheme. There are certain crietria that need to be met in order to be eligible.
