School calendar for next year

We are currently finalising the calendar for next year and this will be shared with parents in due course.  At this point, however, I can confirm that the first day back  for students after the summer holiday will be Thursday 2 September.  I will write to parents before the end of term about various issues including dates for next year.  The letter will be sent home via students and posted on the website. 

Crawshaw Statutory Proposals on Trust Status

The final stage of consultation for Trust Status entails the publication of Statutory Proposals.  Objections, proposals or representations must be made by Tuesday 20 July.  Details of how to do so can be found within the document.  Click here to download. 

UCAS advice for parents

As the summer result days approach, we wanted to remind you that UCAS have a section to support parents of students going into higher education.  See www.ucas.com/parents for more details.  Not only can parents sign up for quarterly e-newsletters to receive timely information and advice, as well as download a PDF copy of the Parent Guide, but ythere is also information about finance, offers and how students can make an informed decision for their higher education future.  We hope you find this resource useful. 

Short & long term changes to our catering service

With the building work in full swing, we look forward to opening the newly refurbished areas of school in September.  Part of the forthcoming work on the canteen will affect our catering service, and we have other plans for lunchtimes in September which we hope will improve our provision.  Click here to download the letter which gives full details (this went home via student post on Wednesay 16 June.)
